We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate applicant to fill our **Club Floater/ Relief Supervisor role**, overseeing operations across the entire club including Gaming, Cash Management, Food/Beverage and Concierge.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who has worked in hospitality or an industry that values great leadership of multiple teams and understands the operations of a multi-faceted business.

As part of our commitment to ongoing development, the successful applicant will be supported with a place in a Certificate IV in Leadership and Management course, so that they can continue building their skills both on the job and in the classroom. Their roster will accommodate paid attendance at course days.

**The purpose of this role is to**:

- Create memorable experiences for our customers
- Consistently and proactively provide customers with a high level of customer service
- Educate our customers about ‘what’s on’ at the club, product offerings and membership rewards
- Provide leadership, direction and support to front-of-house operational teams to ensure high levels of customer service are being achieved
- Monitor and respond to service levels, received goods, response times, service quality, food production, cleanliness - and assist as appropriate
- Coordinate the team on shift including task allocation, organising breaks and arranging coverage in all areas
- Provide coaching, development, and performance feedback to employees on their performance, including managing performance concerns
- Problem solve and implement solutions to ensure a positive customer experience
- Work closely with the General Manager as you develop your skills
- Comply with the Club’s policies and procedures (e.g. RSA/RCG, safe food handling, hygiene standards)
- Provide insight into fluctuations in wages, wastage, stock and other cost contributors
- Implement and champion change as part of a progressive and evolving organisation
- Support training, onboarding and coaching of new starters to the Department
- Conflict management and management of complex operational issues
- Embrace the Club’s Vision, Mission, Values and Values Matrix
- Project work from time to time

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

- At least 12 months working as part of a team within the hospitality industry (or similar)
- Confidence to work independently and think on your feet to resolve issues and manage tricky situations
- Be willing to learn and able to get involved in different projects and events
- Be willing to dive into multiple areas - building skills that will benefit you throughout your leadership career
- Exceptional experience in communicating with both customers and team members
- A high degree of discretion, integrity and confidentiality
- RSA and RCG
- High standard of presentation and exceptional communication skills, including report writing and other formal documentation
- Flexibility and availability across the operating hours of the Club
