**BOOK KEEPER / ACCOUNTS ADMINISTRATION**
HORNSBY AREA
A small business located in Hornsby is seeking a versatile individual capable of maintaining bookkeping functions for several small companies.

**Key duties of this role include**:
- Weekly Payroll & super lodgement
- BAS & PAYG preparation & lodgement
- Account Payable & Receivable
- Recording & maintaining & bank reconciliation of daily financial transactions
- Data entry with a deep understanding of accounting principles (inter-entity loans, journals)
- Posting accounts & processing journal entries
- Maintaing a balanced general ledger
- Liaising with external accountants
- Ensuring compliance with the ATO is met
- End of month reporting (P&L & Balance Sheet)
- Managing other Director's entities
- Other Admin tasks as required
**What we're looking for**
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a small business or practice setting; thorough knowledge of Xero
- MS Office-intermediate to advanced, especially in Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent time management skills
Preferably have a driver's licence
You will also be required to attend management meetings and necessary workshops/training - both formal and informal. Some travel may also be required.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
