About the role

This is a full-time or part-time, or contractor Accountant role with Russell R Farr & Associates' in Hornsby, NSW 2077. Reporting to the Senior Partners, this position plays a crucial part in providing comprehensive taxation and accounting services to our diverse client base. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial advice and compliance work to a portfolio of individual and business clients.

What you'll be doing

  • Preparing and lodging tax returns for individual and business clients
  • Providing advice on tax planning strategies
  • Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements
  • Advising clients on business structures, accounting systems and processes
  • Liaising with clients, the ATO and other stakeholders as required
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the firm's service offerings

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar accounting role
  • Strong technical skills in taxation, financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management abilities
  • Keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for providing exceptional client service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
