**Responsibilities**
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Perform daily bank and credit card reconciliations
- Enter and balance accounts receivables and payables on a daily basis
- Create timely invoices and bills to maintain accurate accounting records
- Processing NDIS claims and payments
- Manage the AR/AP mailboxes
- Assist with weekly and monthly financial reports and present to the management
- Assist with monthly budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with payroll activities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date data on the accounting software and MS -Excel
- Liaise with relevant internal and external stakeholders to manage accurate records
**Requirements**:
- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an accounts clerk or a bookkeeper
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting platform, XERO
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Well organized
- Bachelor’s degree or a diploma in finance/accounting/management
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: $42,525.58 - $60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
