Are you passionate about ethical business practices and keeping things above board? We’re looking for an experienced Compliance Coordinator with a solid understanding of anti-bribery regulations to join our Bunnings team.
About the Role
Reporting to our Enterprise and Risk Compliance Manager, you’ll be a key player in our dynamic and supportive Compliance team. You will help strengthen our risk management and compliance framework—especially when it comes to due diligence and anti-bribery efforts.
You’ll be the go-to for coordinating due diligence processes, promoting awareness and training, and ensuring our partners and suppliers play by the rules—all in line with Bunnings’ and Wesfarmers’ compliance standards.
You will additionally:
- Conduct and coordinate due diligence checks to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Enforce our Group Anti-Bribery Policy and ensure ethical practices across all third-party relationships.
- Maintain detailed records of findings and actions taken.
- Deliver engaging training and awareness programs for our team and partners.
- Continuously improve our due diligence procedures to stay ahead of regulatory changes.
- Provide Support for compliance reporting and documentation.
About You
Joining a supportive and highly collaborative team you’re a detail-oriented professional with a background in compliance, legal, sustainability, or ethical sourcing and you bring a calm confidence to even the busiest of days. Thriving in fast-paced environments, you’re known for your ability to manage multiple priorities without missing a beat.
Your strong sense of integrity and discretion sets you apart and you’re a natural when it comes to building trusted relationships and navigating stakeholder conversations. With excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—you’re someone who can translate complex requirements into clear, actionable outcomes.
You will additionally have:
- 3+ years’ experience in a compliance, legal, or ethical auditing role.
- Strong knowledge of anti-bribery laws and due diligence processes.
