**About the role**:

Our central Events and Sponsorship team is seeking an Events and Demonstrations Coordinator to join the team on 12-month FTC/maternity cover basis. The role will see you supporting the Head of Events and Sponsorships in the running and coordinating of events across the group including but not limited to conferences, supplier awards, roadshow showcases etc. You will support and coordinate partnership activities across key partners such as the AFL, Master Chef, and the Heart Foundation to name a few. A core component of this role will be coordinating in-store activations, working closely with suppliers to book and coordinate the activations. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about the events space who also understands the “out of hours” work and travel required for this type of role too.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- You’ll partner and coordinate with suppliers on an ongoing basis to manage and book instore activations
- You’ll assist in the delivery of internal business events and sponsorship integration within timeframes and budget to support the Head of Events and Sponsorships
- You will administer all aspects of the Instore demonstration program

**About you and your skills**:
We’re after a highly organised marketing and events professional with a strong understanding of the retail operational model, across marketing, store operations and merchandising.

You’ll also need:

- Experience managing instore activation activities working closely with external suppliers and agencys
- Strong project management and coordination skills with the ability to work across several projects at the one time
- The ability to develop strong working relationships with people in differing functions
- The ability to work cross functional to manage and deliver outcomes
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with external suppliers on an ongoing basis.
