**About Ultima Function Centre**:
Ultima Function Centre is a premier event venue with over three decades of experience in curating unforgettable events. Strategically located near Melbourne CBD and the airport, we specialize in hosting weddings, corporate events, and an array of special celebrations. Our venue features multiple distinct spaces, both indoor and outdoor, to accommodate intimate gatherings or grand celebrations for up to 600 guests.

**Role Overview**:
As a Sales Manager at Ultima Function Centre, you will be the driving force behind our sales and client engagement efforts. Your role will focus on converting leads into bookings, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring a seamless experience from the initial inquiry to the event day. You will also play a crucial role in managing our social media presence and implementing marketing strategies to attract new business and maintain our stellar reputation.

**Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution**
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify, approach, and secure new business opportunities for weddings, corporate events, and other special occasions.
- Conduct venue tours and deliver compelling presentations to convert leads into bookings.

**Client Relationship Management**
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs to bring their vision to life.
- Maintain regular communication to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure complete client satisfaction.

**Marketing & Social Media**
- Oversee the creation and execution of social media campaigns to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design promotional materials and advertising campaigns tailored to our target audience.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine marketing strategies and stay ahead.

**Event Coordination**
- Work in close coordination with the events team to ensure that client requirements are met and events are flawlessly executed.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers to guarantee the highest quality of service and smooth event operations.

**Performance Tracking & Reporting**
- Monitor sales performance, analyze key metrics, and provide regular sales reports to management.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and continuously improve performance.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the events or hospitality industry, with a proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of social media and digital marketing strategies to drive engagement and lead generation.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to foster positive client experiences.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple leads and events simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings, to meet client needs.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools for efficient lead management.
