**About the role**

The engine room of our business, our Central Operations team keeps us moving and delivering our services to all Australians. We empower and support our retail teams across the country, helping them deliver great experiences for our customers every single day. Within supermarket operations our events team manage implementation of all season trade initiatives into store. We are looking for a Events Support Lead to join the team on a permanent basis.

**What you’ll be doing**

working with business partners, you will own the end-to-end process of strategic events initiatives across the business. From process implementation through to execution and review.

**You'll also**
- support day to day trade events across the business to enable excellent execution within store
- liaise with marketing function to ensure elements landing in store are functional and simple
- support delivery of strategic event monthly communications to assist stores in the management and implementation of events and initiatives across the business

**Good things you’ll need**

We’re looking for an experienced retail leader who has experience of managing projects. A strong communicator who has a passion for successfully implementing change.

**you’ll also need**
- extensive store leadership experience or experience in a retail leadership role analysing store processes
- a successful track record of project management delivery in a national retail setting
- the ability to communicate and work cross functionally across multiple business units to deliver complex change
- Demonstrated resilience, able to raise competing demands with the lead and manager to ensure priorities are controlled and team commitments are delivered in a timely manner
- experience working in a continuous improvement environment would be advantageous
