Local Government Organisation seeking a Project Officer to work in the Infrastructure & Environment space

**Your new company**
Government organisation seeking a temporary Project Officer. You’ll be working within a local government entity, promisingly located in the largest growth corridor of the South East Queensland region. You’ll be working within the Infrastructure and Environment department.

**Your new role**
Your new role will see you engaged on a contract basis to lead and support the internal construction team to deliver civil, transport and stormwater infrastructure projects throughout the Ipswich region. You will provide advice on construction methodology, including, material ordering, scheduling and financial management. You will be responsible for quality control, testing and meeting project deadlines.

**What you'll need to succeed**
The successful applicant will have worked on Civil or Commercial projects previously as Leading Hand or above. You will also have the following qualities:
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

- Strong written & verbal communication
- Strong time management & organisational skills
- A high-level attention to detail and a professional manner
- Hold a current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Hold a Construction White Card
