Respected government organization dedicated to providing quality financial and legal services to the people of Queensland. Currently seeking a Project Officer to join their busy team for a permanent assignment.

**About the role**
As a Project Officer, you will be accountable in the provision of administrative and general project support activities for a range of high-level organizational projects across the department. In addition, your key duties are as follow:

- Develop and implement project plans, policies, and solutions
- Work with other departments (e.g., Procurement, Legal, Finance) related to project delivery
- Prepare and maintain project documents and correspondence
- Organize project-related meetings and prepare agendas and minutes
- Monitor and report the status of project deliverables
- Maintain risk and change registers
- Monitor project expenses and invoices

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you must have:

- Previous experience in a project management or program delivery role
- Relevant diploma or certification in project management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make decisions on complex problems
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deadline
