COEX focuses on reducing container litter, increasing recycling efforts and helping communities benefit through paying refunds to individuals, charities and community groups. Since its inception in 2018, the scheme has created significant and meaningful environmental, social and economic change by cleaning up our environment while also creating job opportunities and supporting local communities. **About the Opportunity | Projects Officer** Reporting to the Growth Lead, the Projects Officer is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day warehousing and logistics of Container Exchange assets across Queensland. Also assisting and facilitating the establishment, execution and support when setting up special events and marketing campaigns relating to container drop-offs and collections The Projects Officer’s key responsibilities: - Independently coordinating logistics, vendors, charities, Container Refund Points and volunteers prior to and during special events - Create supporting documents including forms and reports for internal and external stakeholders to track project performance - Project management responsibilities included: relationship management with external vendors, participating in scoping, goal setting and planning of new projects, delivery of existing rolling projects, logistics and delivery management, and regularly communicating with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are met - Ongoing management of the company-wide purchasing and procurement activities **About You** We are looking for a professional with: - 1-3 years of experience in logistics or project management - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Must have strong organisational and project management skills, and attention to detail - Environmentally minded, passionate about sustainability and making a difference - Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines **How to Apply** If you are interested in this opportunity, please click the **"APPLY"** button and attach your resume and a covering letter outlining your suitability.
