Queensland Government Air (QGAir) forms part of the QPS Aviation Capability Group (ACG) and provides government aviation services specialising in both rotary and fixed wing operations in support of the QPS and our partner agencies in regular and emergency response operations across Queensland.

The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our dynamic project management team as a Senior Project Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting the development and implementation, administration, and maintenance of aviation projects including aviation fleet replacement programs, and major facilities and capital works projects.

Your responsibilities will include:
Assist in the development, implementation, overview, and evaluation of strategic projects that contribute to the alignment of business outcomes for the department.
Assist in the development, implementation and overview of appropriate strategies, policies, standards and guidelines in line with agency requirements.
Represent the department on committees and working parties.
Prepare and review reports, briefing notes, submissions, business cases, departmental and other correspondence in accordance with organisational requirements.
Deliver presentations and reports to senior executives and represent the business unit and agency at internal and external forums.
Provide high quality, well researched advice on emerging and business improvement issues likely to affect the provision of policing services and develop strategies and options to deal effectively with these issues as required.

What We're Looking For:
Although not essential, the following qualifications and experience would be highly regarded:
A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Previous experience working on complex projects.
