This role is for a Project Officer in the Transactions and Advisory Team in the Strategic Services and Insights division within the Strategy, Insights and Advisory group.
The Transactions and Advisory Team delivers land and commercial transactions to support job creation and economic and social benefits for all Queenslanders. The team works proactively with the private sector to identify ways to accelerate the delivery of projects mostly on State Government land and exclusive transactions.
The team manages Government's exclusive transactions framework and projects, requiring active management. The team is also negotiating and managing a number of land transactions and development agreements with multiple project budgets requiring accurate reporting.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Project Officer to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team who will: - Assist in the development and implementation of relevant and effective contract management, project management, stakeholder management and governance frameworks. Provide accurate and timely analysis and advice to the Project Manager to assist in regular project reports. Monitor project progress and provide feedback to management on new and emerging risks and issues. Assist with the engagement and management of external project advisors from a range of disciplines. Assist in the preparation of briefs, correspondence, submissions and reports on project issues. Provide secretariat services for evaluation panels and project committees with interdepartmental and private sector representatives.
