Your new company
With almost 100 years experience, this award winning Engineering company provides end to end service to its variety of clients. Due to an increase in projects an opportunity exists for an experienced office administrator to join this exciting global company on a permanent basis.
Your new role
You will be responsible for coordinating, overseeing, planning, organising and delivering operations for all internal meetings and events, end to end including the planning, catering, setups, logistics and hosting. This role also provides supports and will cover shifts on the host desk as rostered and as required.
- Organise broad forward planning longer term of all internal events and follow up on meeting bookings
- Work with staff whom have booked rooms or events on end to end event management to create, coordinate and execute meetings, events and activities and assign tasks to FoH or Marketing team;
- Responsible for end to end management of major internal events
- Process requests for meetings including, but not limited to, catering, alcohol, styling, AV, materials, printing workshop materials, etc.
What you'll need to succeed
You will naturally be taking the leading role in tasks and activities, have high ability of planning and organising. You will be organised and methodical and be able to forecast. You will be a confident communicator and work well with people at all levels. You will enjoy going above and beyond, naturally be a problem solver and have the ability to grow and nature relationships with internal and external parties.
You will have previous experience in a events coordinator role, officer administration and/or as a PA providing assistance to a team. You will be able to communicate with people at all levels in both technical and non-technical environments; You will be able to maintain personal effectiveness particularly during periods of higher than normal workload; Ability to remain positively motivated and foster team spirit at times of significant pressure, including assisting others to meet deadlines; Desire to excel.
