5-week temporary opportunity for an Event Coordinator with a leading State Government department in Melbourne.
**Your new company**
This State Government department provides leadership in economic, financial and resource management.
**Your new role**
As the Engagement Officer, you will:
- Provide event management support for upcoming Department events
- Build and support relationships with internal and external stakeholders at a very high level
- Develop communications collateral including event brief writing and ministerial correspondence
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience with event coordination/management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in event logistics and project management
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including liaising with media
