We are currently in search of an exceptional Purchasing Manager who can effectively oversee the end-to-end sourcing and procurement process for construction supplies. Due to continued growth and industry reputation, this excellent organisation is now seeking to onboard an experienced Purchasing Manager who can adeptly multitask and think on their feet. As an integral member of the operations team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring stringent timelines are met and work closely with the warehousing team.
As the Purchasing Manager, you will work closely with the Director to manage all aspects of procurement including supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and the day-to-day ordering responsibilities.
Key responsibilities:

- Strategically sourcing products and product lines
- Skillfully processing requisitions and meticulously generating accurate purchase orders for external suppliers
- Diligently coordinating logistics for goods inward/outward and meticulously overseeing receipting of goods
- Efficiently managing stock and inventory levels while proficiently handling customer orders
- Implementing innovative cost-saving initiatives to drive operational efficiency
- Engaging in effective communication with management, suppliers, and customers to foster strong relationships
- Methodically implementing a rolling stocktake process to maintain accurate inventory records
- Creating new stock items to meet evolving market demands
