Purchasing Expeditor for Global Mining Client - Based Perth CBD and work from home
This global mining and metals company has a diverse range of commodities and has it’s headquarters based in Perth. They are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Expeditor to join our team based at their Perth office. The purpose of this role is to provide specialist support to ensure timely and cost-effective supply of goods and services to the business.

Job Responsibilities
- Confirming purchase orders with vendors
- Expediting Orders including direct engagement with vendors to develop solutions that meet order requirements
- Obtaining supplier QA documentation as required
- Provide support. Eg. Obtaining quotes, liaising with vendors for documentation, arranging freight movements, creating purchase orders for freight and matching to invoices.
- Resolving invoice discrepancies
- Assist onboarding Vendors onto Vendor Portal and ensuring compliance with same.
- Assist with Vendor performance discussions in regards quality performance.
- Participate with other team members in projects lead by Purchasing Manager or Strategic Sourcing.
- Provide coverage and support to other procurement team members as required.

What you bring
- Min 2 years procurement experience
- Experience in use of ERP system (ideally SAP) for purchasing
- Must be willing to contact suppliers directly and engage to provide solutions and deliver on-time
- Experience working in project environment preferred
- Experience with reporting software
- Intermediate excel and Power BI experience an advantage
