We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our Public Sector business in a key leadership role supporting education customers across Australia, which can include K - 12 or higher education sector.
**Responsibilities**:
**The purpose of this role**
Your inclusive leadership will deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modelling, coaching, and caring of a high performing team of Account Executives and Account Technology Strategists.
Your Responsibilities will include
- Positioning yourself as a thought leader and trusted advisor to executive-level business decision makers, while leveraging best-in-class sales and communication techniques and stakeholder engagement to enable your team to build stronger relationships with their key decision makers.
- Helping to ensure every one of your team members feel they can be their full and authentic self while achieving their best work.
- Committing to being an active and intentional participant in a diverse and inclusive Microsoft culture.
- Ensuring business excellence from your team by holding them accountable for forecasting expected sales revenue within their customer segments, guiding development strategies to manage pipeline and meet sales goals while ensuring seamless account management experiences across the portfolio.

**What skills do you need to have?**
There will be many opportunities for you to learn and grow into this role and Microsoft. However, to be able to best deliver on the purpose of this role, these are the core skills and experiences you should have on day one:
- Ability to lead high performing and collaborative technical sales teams
- Experience working in a sales role in a large, complex environment
- Experience working with Australian Education Sector customers
- Experience with orchestrating complex business constructs
- Ability to build strategic partnerships across the education ecosystem
- Ability to develop a great team from seasoned account executives to emerging talent through coaching and facilitating cross group collaboration
