Our business has a growing portfolio of rail projects underway and we are looking to employ a Project Support Specialist with an immediate start. You would join our growing Sydney team as we undertake an increasing number of Rail projects across Australia.

**About the role**

The Project Support Specialist has a wide ranging and influential role in our business, supporting our project delivery systems and office environment to enable the efficient delivery of our engineering services within a quality environment.

You will have direct interaction with both the engineering teams and the senior management, and its likely you will never be short of things to do.

Despite that, you will have qualities that reflect a strong attention to detail and a positive outlook, with the ability to deliver outcomes to an extremely high standard.

**Included in this rewarding and challenging role, are the following responsibilities**:

- Configuring the tools and systems (collaboration tools, document control, time recording, etc) at project initiation to support the delivery of projects by the engineering project teams
- Assisting project managers with month end reporting
- Assisting the finance team with monthly project reporting
- Assisting the project teams with Document Control as required
- Assisting HR with maintaining training and competency records
- Providing general administrative support as required

**In addition, you will assist the senior management with**:

- Co-ordination of IT support with external provider, and new user set up
- Property and facilities management
- Proposal and general business development support
- Championing the adoption of systems with new users
- Assisting the Governance and Compliance manager with change management and internal audits of systems

**About you**

As a minimum, you will need to have worked in a professional services office environment before and be an expert user of the Microsoft suite of collaboration tools including Teams and SharePoint, as well as Word and Excel. Any experience with NetSuite ERP would be an advantage. You will also be a great communicator and have strong attention to detail.

Qualifications in business administration, commerce or IT would be an advantage as it would demonstrate your motivation to develop professionally.
