**What can you expect?**

An amazing opportunity has become available for a strategic thinker and an inspiring leader to work within our reinsurance placement team.

This role will focus on the leadership and strategic planning of our reinsurance placement services team, delivery of strategic marketing services for our key cedant and captive clients and raising the profile of Marsh within the market to ensure best results are delivered to our clients.

**W**e will count on you to**:

- Formulate Placement strategy by utilizing substantial risk expertise and knowledge of industry and carriers to develop solutions that meet difficult client needs
- Devise the go-to-market strategy, advocates for the value of placement function and participates within pricing of services as applicable
- Consult with cedant clients, client executives and client teams to support client retention and new business production
- Negotiate coverage changes with reinsurance underwriters to ensure the coverage specifications are correct and fit for purpose
- Gather and structure reinsurance capacity to deliver cost-effective placement solutions
- Analyse quotes from reinsurers and providing analysis and developing placement solutions and renewals
- Conduct market intelligence to assist the design, development and marketing of new insurance and risk-transfer products
- Build and maintain client and market relationships at appropriate levels to execute effectively on placement objectives
- Contribute to the firm’s body of knowledge through active internal communication to keep abreast of changing risk and insurance market conditions
- Ensure strict adherence to the Company’s compliance systems and procedures
- Ensure all activities fully comply with Company’s Errors and Omissions policy

**What you need to have**:

- Strong industry and placement experience
- Strong sales acumen and client management skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Travel will be required

- Post Graduate Management qualification or equivalent
- Senior Associate of ANZIIF
- Confident in communicating at all levels, a strategic thinker and an inspiring leader
