**About the role**
In this role you will be responsible for development and delivery of a range of exciting and exceptional performances, programs and events for a diverse audience of local residents, schools and visitors, positioning the Bellarine as an arts and cultural destination. Based at the Potato Shed in Drysdale, you will oversee the creation of the annual program of events for the venue and act as the main contact for artists, co-producers and partners confirming arrangements and expectations with clients of the venue.

Key responsibilities include:
- In collaboration with the Potato Shed/Bellarine Arts Centre Manager, develop and program an annual artistic season of performances, programs and events that widen participation, spark curiosity and inspire new ways of interaction with the Potato Shed
- Curate and deliver a season of school holiday programs that promote and supplement existing programs and activities
- In collaboration with internal stakeholders, identify trends and audience insights, develop content, talent and partnership opportunities, refine program strategies to effectively attract and engage identified audiences
- Liaise with internal Potato Shed team on all aspects of program delivery, including project timelines, artist and speaker management, risk management processes, ticketing and budgets to ensure the venue has appropriate audience services and amenities.
- Work with the Potato Shed/Bellarine Arts Centre Manager to negotiate, issue and coordinate all contracts and/or letters of agreement, including but not limited to performances, co-presentations, umbrella events and on-sells.
- Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements in a timely manner, with a high level of attention to detail
- Monitor program and event budgets to ensure all events are delivered within the agreed budget
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have a background in Theatre or Performing Arts and some experience in Project or Event Management would be ideal. You will be comfortable to liaise with a diverse range of people, be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks, be decisive with your decision making with a level of innovation and thinking outside the box when faced with challenging issues.
Essential Experience:
- Extensive programming experience for performing arts, festivals, events and/or venues.
- High level of arts administration knowledge and experience across a wide range of projects in a multidisciplinary arts and cultural environment.
- Sound understanding of the national performing arts industry and arts venue management.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders including schools, residents, community organisations, Council staff, Councillors and State Government officials.
- Qualifications in Arts, Arts Management, Events or a relevant discipline or suitable experience in related fields.
