We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented
**Events Coordinator** to join the marketing team at The Gordon. The Event Coordinator will play a crucial role in planning, organising, and executing various events to enhance the overall student experience, foster community engagement, and contribute to the success of TAFE programs and initiatives.

You will work across various events during the year, including graduation, scholarships, awards, and information sessions. You will need a proven track record and be equipped with a can-do attitude.
In this fun and diverse role, you will be supported by a collaborative team as we aim to promote the benefits of TAFE and provide great events for students and our industry partners.
The role requires you to:
- Develop comprehensive event plans, timelines, budgets and reports.
- Collect feedback and assess the success of events, making recommendations for improvements.
- Source and coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and partners as needed.
- Ensure all logístical aspects of events are well-organised, including venue selection, catering, audio-visual setup and transportation.
- Work closely with designers to design and implement event programs and invitations.
- Prepare post-event reports and evaluations for analysis and manage RSVPs, registrations, and attendee lists.
You will have an eye for details, maintaining accurate event expenses, contracts, and correspondence records. The Event Coordinator will work closely with various departments within The Gordon to ensure alignment of events with overall organisational objectives.
The role requires travel and work outside of regular business hours.
**Qualifications, skills and attributes to be successful in this role**:
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in event coordination and planning.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with TAFE programs and educational events is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
