- **Employment type**:Temporary full-time until 30 June 2025, with potential to extend.
- **Grade**:Grade 5/6
- **Salary**:$97,027 - $107,059 pa plus employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

**Your role**

Undertake day-to-day coordination of translation and transcription projects and engage in operational support initiatives in Language Services.

The role is also responsible for the allocation of work to a small team of Customer Service Officers and Translators/Interpreters and providing guidance on best practices in task and activity management.

**What you’ll do**

As part of the Language Services division, you will:

- Act as an escalation point for the team to resolve complex enquiries.
- Coordinate translation and transcription projects of various complexity.
- Allocate work and control quality and timeliness of the services provided and escalate any issues in accordance with the agency policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment, participating actively in team meetings and projects, and provide advice on the effective delivery of services.
- Develop sound relationships with various stakeholders.

You'll work as part of a multicultural team of customer service officers and translators in the Language Services division that provides translation, transcription and interpreting services to a wide range of customers.

**What we’re looking for**
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of quality customer services in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multiple competing priorities and ability to adapt to changing work environment quickly.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience working in language services industry (e.g. Translation/Interpreting project coordination experience preferred).
- Experience in effectively supervising small teams.
