- **Employment type**: Ongoing full-time
- **Grade**:$105,986 - $116,969 per annum (depending on NAATI credentials held), plus superannuation and annual leave loading, in accordance with the _Crown Employees (Interpreters and Translators, Multicultural NSW) Award_.

**Your role**
- The Service Hub Translator will be responsible for delivering accurate, high-quality translating services in the relevant community language to ensure that members of the relevant ethnic community have equal access to government and non-government services.

**What you’ll do**
- As part of the Language Services team at Multicultural NSW, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, accurate and fluent translations to key clients. You will ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced, complex setting. Your duties include the translation of a variety of document types for clients, government and non-government agencies.
- You will also manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment, communicate sensitively with diverse customers to facilitate communication, and stay up to date with industry developments to maintain compliance with current standards and codes of ethics.

**What we’re looking for**
- A NAATI Certified Translator, in both directions, holding both of the following certifications:

- Certified Translator Arabic or Chinese into English, and
- Certified Translator English into Arabic or Chinese.
- Over five years’ experience in translation
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks and work to a flexible schedule.
