**The Role**
The APS-6 Data Manager is central to achieving and supporting the broader objectives of the sustainment of cryptographic products within the IA SPO sustainment Portfolio.

The position will be responsible for:

- Developing and preparing reports on logistics databases and interrogating data for business analysis on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Administration of physical asset holdings allocated to Defence and selected Government agencies: Activities will include research and trend analysis.
- Developing and preparing Sustainment reporting and Sustainment Performance Management System (SPMS) data entry measuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Health Indicators (KHIs).
- Working collaboratively, building and sustaining effective relationships while providing advice and guidance on more complex issues.
- Engage and negotiate with stakeholders on complex issues, resolving problems and implement alternative courses of action to achieve business outcomes.

**About our Team**
The Information Assurance Systems Program Office (IA SPO) is part of the Joint Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems Branch (Joint C4S) within the Joint Systems Division (JSD) of the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).

JSD within CASG is a world-leading complex enterprise with a heavy dependence on information technology and its personnel. IA SPO has responsibility for major and minor High Assurance Cryptographic Equipment (HACE) acquisition projects and in service sustainment of HACE fleet and supporting systems.
- Have an interest in, or experience with, working with databases.
- Ability to interrogate, analyse, interpret and validate data.
- Knowledge of and/or use of business intelligence reporting systems (desirable but not required).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent computer literacy with an intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Organisational and critical thinking skills.
- Motivated self-starter.
- The ability to manage a team made up of a complex integrated workforce.
