**What you do**:

- Reporting to the Head of Sales Governance, the Sales Engagement Specialist focuses on engaging and developing capability within the retail sales streams of our partners through supporting the Senior Sales Engagement Specialist with data entry, reporting and analytics.
- It will entail consulting with frontline insurance selling agents, providing the knowledge and coaching required to assist in reaching desired insurance results.
- This role is responsible for the oversight and review of the training and activities of our internal and external representatives to ensure accurate and timely completion in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

**Key responsibilities**:
**Learning design & delivery**
- Work with the Senior Sales Engagement Specialist to undertake needs analysis with the development and continuous review and improvement of training support programs across the learning lifecycle.
- Accurate and timely data entry, data loading, reporting and analytics.
- Support the instructional design of support programs to provide knowledge required to third party frontline agents.
- Provide support for projects that involve partner sales changes.
- Support change in insurance training whilst maintaining compliance requirements.
- Demonstrate success in coaching and training selling to results in sales growth.
- Support the Senior Sales Engagement Specialist with the development, implementation and review of assessment and accreditation program.

**Sales development**
- Awareness of developing new sales opportunities within existing agents to meet business targets, including cross-training and awareness pieces.
- Provide support for the management of projects relating to client expectations and training programs in consultation with sales managers.
- Working towards sales metrics is crucial, as is an innovative and creative mindset.

**Monitoring & Supervision**
- Perform analysis to establish appropriate processes and tools for the monitoring and supervision function.
- Facilitate and conduct monitoring and supervision activities either onsite, as part of a desktop audit or any other means.
- Review and examine all relevant records, reports, operating practices, and documentation supporting an audit an provide appropriate recommendations to relevant stakeholders (both internal and external). Ongoing monitoring, quality and risk review of client content, contractual obligations and internal procedures.

**Stakeholder management**
- Build rapport and maintain relationships with key partners, both at a retail and support level
- Effectively work within an autonomous, remote environment to provide support and positive reinforcement to partner selling agents to contribute to sales growth.
- Development of strong business relationships requiring proactive determination of customers’ needs and a solution-based work ethic.

**Industry knowledge and awareness**
- Strong understanding of insurance and service products and compliance.
- Experience in an insurance sales environment, in particular retail environments.
- Understanding of the sales process, sales skills and successful sales techniques.
- Demonstrated experience with monitoring of sales and/or compliance functions.

**Communication**
- Well-developed people and communication skills including verbal, oral and written.
- Ability to articulate requirements and challenges in a remote based work environment.
- Delivery of exceptional customer service levels with strong presentation skills.
- Demonstrated experience in providing learning and coaching preferred.
- Ability to influence and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders by adapting communications to appropriate audiences.
