We are looking for a** Sustainability Lead - Customer Experience**, a pivotal role dedicated to helping achieve the Group’s ambitious waste reduction and sustainability targets. This newly created position will focus on accurately defining baseline consumption of single-use plastics (SUP) and waste diversion, formulating comprehensive strategies, and driving the implementation of initiatives that inspire culture change across the organisation.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to foster innovation, secure investments, and implement meaningful change. With a strong focus on governance, you’ll oversee progress tracking, projections, and the prioritisation of impactful initiatives. By aligning the Inflight and Ground Customer Experience with the Group Sustainability approach, you’ll play a vital role in achieving significant milestones and setting a new standard for environmental responsibility. **You’ll have -**
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, providing input on all aspects of sustainability initiatives to drive progress effectively.
- Proven ability to resolve complex issues and structure them for clarity and resolution by others.
- Superior stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the capability to operate effectively at all business levels to achieve program outcomes.
- Extensive project management experience, including leading cross-functional project teams.
- Confidence and expertise in identifying key issues, structuring project plans, developing strategic options, and delivering outcomes.
- Thorough understanding of strategic and financial evaluation techniques.
- Experience in leading and developing project teams and mentoring staff.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of impactful decision-making.
- Demonstrated success in contributing to cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives.
