A new opportunity has become available for an experienced **Sustainability and Environmental Lead** to join our team based in Rydalmere.

You will be responsible for delivering holistic and innovative sustainability and environment programs in a meaningful manner for Rheem Australia. You will focus on environment and product initiatives aligned to the strategic plan and delivery of specific customer, community and product sustainability principle. This role will work closely with all Rheem Australia manufacturing sites (Rydalmere, Moorabbin, Revesby, Rheem Vietnam and Rheem New Zealand), as well as other Functional departments (Production, R&D, Service, Marketing, etc.) to ensure the projects are delivered on-time and meet the targets.

**About you**
- Tertiary qualifications, degree or postgraduate, in Environmental Engineering, Science, Planning, Sustainability or other related disciplines.
- Project Management and lean six sigma experience highly regarded
- Ability to influence and persuade internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated project leadership experience.
- Advanced communication skills and experience in stakeholder management to influence outcomes.
- Experience in an environmental management role and compliance reporting.
- Project management skills including the ability to plan, implement, monitor and evaluate small to medium-scale capital works. Ability to establish work plans, monitor progress and complete work tasks on time and on budget.
- Proficient with MS software with particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- A proactive self-starter with proven experience driving successful outcomes without high levels of management support.
