The HR Business Partner’s role is a true HR generalist role; providing comprehensive, pragmatic and customer focused HR support and advice to employees and leaders across Twinings & Co. Overseeing all cyclical HR activities and operational requirements, the HR Business Partner is responsible for building organisational capability, attracting and retaining talent, supporting manufacturing operations and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements; whilst supporting an environment where people can thrive, be the best version of themselves and perform at their best.
Please note that this role is a 12 month parental leave cover.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Foster positive working relationships and partner with key stakeholders at all levels to provide HR advice, coaching and support.
- Oversee the employee life cycle process including recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, performance management and employee engagement.
- Lead a HR team consisting of a HR Advisor and HR Coordinator to support with running all HR operations.
- Manage the annual performance and remuneration review including bonuses.
- Manage all end-to-end employee relations (ER) issues including investigation and disciplinary processes.
- Oversee the fortnightly payroll process including all reporting, superannuation and tax payments.
- Manage the end-to-end EBA negotiation process for the Factory team.
- Maintain employment law knowledge and keep abreast of legislation changes including maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
- Manage all other HR Activities including benefits, union activities, workers compensation and salary continuance.
**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:
- Strong HR Partnering experience with ability to foster strong relationships at all levels, in a fast paced moving environment (FMCG highly desirable).
- Strong HR Operational experience with managing and overseeing the employee life cycle including recruitment.
- Strong knowledge of best practice HR process and procedure as well as legislation and regulations
- Experience in payroll and EBA negotiations (highly desirable)
- Working with People: Demonstrates a positive and flexible attitude. Listen consults and communicates proactively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, display empathy and earn the trust of all employees.
- Advanced skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
