About the role

Confoil Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team in Bayswater, Victoria. As HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic and operational HR support to our business, with a focus on driving talent development, employee engagement, and organisational effectiveness. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work closely with our leadership team and contribute to the growth and success of our manufacturing and logistics organisation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Partnering with business leaders to understand their strategic priorities and align HR initiatives to support their goals
  2. Providing HR advisory services to managers on a range of employee-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation
  3. Implementing and continuously improving HR processes, programs, and systems to enhance the employee experience
  4. Developing and delivering training and development initiatives to build the capabilities of our workforce
  5. Analysing HR data and metrics to identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement
  6. Collaborating with the HR team to drive initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing organisational culture
  7. Ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role in a manufacturing, logistics, or other fast-paced, operational environment
  2. Strong business acumen and the ability to translate HR strategy into practical, value-adding solutions
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organisation
  4. Demonstrated experience in managing employee relations, performance management, and organisational development
  5. Proficiency in HR data analysis and the use of HR information systems
  6. Experience with HRIS and payroll systems is required
  7. Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  8. Australian work authorisation is required at the time of application
