**Mission**:
To provide leadership in developing digital solutions for the Asia Pacific Region to drive efficiency improvements and cost reduction. Your key responsibilities involve delivering operational excellence by building a business technology function to support the Epiroc Asia Pacific customer centers. Additionally, you will drive cross-functional collaboration within the organisation, ensuring smooth communication and resource coordination.

By optimizing the Epiroc digitization roadmap and maintaining high standards of operational efficiency, you will contribute significantly to Epiroc’s ability to support our customers with digital solutions on budget and quality, ultimately supporting the company’s growth and success.

**Specific tasks and responsibilities**

As the Business Technology Manager for the Asia Pacific Region, you play a vital role in ensuring the quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness of our Regional Operations. Your responsibilities encompass the following:

- Technology leadership. Lead the design, management and execution of Epiroc APAC technology roadmap.
Design, develop and deliver sustainable digital solutions to drive efficiencies throughout the APAC Epiroc Customer Centers in line with Epiroc IT and Security policies and best practices.
- Grow a Digital Solutions network to support the ongoing maintenance of the regional digital solutions roadmap. Take charge of cultivating strong relationships within Epiroc. This involves implementing new ways of working, monitoring their performance, reviewing created works, addressing any concerns, and fostering their development. Through effective communication and feedback, you will help them improve and meet our expectations of delivering sustainable products with high performance and quality. The members of the network may be located in customer centers or regional hubs, making this a truly distributed team.
- Lead the Digital Solutions Network in the full Software Development Lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment and hand-over to maintenance.
- Collaborate with the Global Business Operations team to ensure alignment with global digital service roadmap and enable efficiency in our global/regional processes.
- Collaborate with Epiroc Supply Chain to drive efficiencies in parts forecasting for the APAC region based on insights from the developed analytics platform.
- Collaboration with Global Epiroc IT Contacts: Work closely with representatives from different divisions who handle IT activities. Collaborate with them to ensure compliance with global requirements, sharing information, coordinating efforts, and aligning practices are essential for achieving our goals.
- Corporate Governance and Standards: Uphold the corporate governance standards set by the Epiroc group for IT.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement. Continuously evaluate new technologies and methodologies, focusing on improving Digital Solution members productivity, data analytics platform performance, end user experience and internal operational efficiencies.

**Qualification**
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

Technical Skills:

- Microsoft Desktop, Development and Power Tools (Windows, Visual Studio, BI, Automate)
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc).
- Database design and implementation with Microsoft SQL Server
- Solution Architecture and Implementation using Microsoft Cloud (Azure, Virtual Machines, App Services, Function Apps, Events, AI Services)
- IT DevOps Processes (Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, Pipelines CI/CD)
- Task Planning and Management with tools such as Jira, Asana or MS Planner
- Software Development and Testing with one or more languages such as C#,.NET, Python and Javascript.

Soft Skills:

- Proven Leadership and Developing teams.
- Mentorship of new and incoming staff such as interns and graduates.
- End-to-End ERP Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the entire ERP system, with specific expertise in workflows. This knowledge will enable you to effectively navigate and utilize the ERP system for optimal operations.
- Process Knowledge: Proficiency in structured and efficient processes, ensuring adherence to established IT procedures and protocols. Your ability to follow standardized processes will contribute to operational efficiency and accuracy.
