The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity within our Asset Operations team for a person seeking a career pathway into a business administration position.

This 2-year fixed term Traineeship will involve undertaking a Certificate 3 or 4 in Business Administration and will be located at our Kewdale Maintenance Base with regular office days at the Perth CBD office and other regional sites when required.

We collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across engineering, planning, HSE, regulatory compliance, and commercial teams, as well as with our customers, contractors, and regulators, to deliver value and uphold APA's reputation as the partner of choice for gas transmission services.

Main activities

  • Administrative support: Assist with reporting and document management, contractor management, travel coordination and facilities coordination.
  • Stakeholder management: Engage and support stakeholders, handle queries, and provide support as required.
  • Financial support: Assist with the coordination of purchase orders, invoice processing and maintain adherence to financial procedures.
  • HSEH support: Assist with activities relating to Health, Safety, Environment and Heritage management.
