Our Federal Government client is seeking a motivated and experienced EL1 Business Manager to play a crucial role in supporting the governance, financial management, and strategic direction of the branch. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of reform, ensuring that First Nations Peoples are actively included in decision-making and benefit from the Government's significant investment in water initiatives.

As an EL1 Business Manager, you will be a key enabler of the branch's success, ensuring that governance, financial management, and business operations run efficiently and effectively. Your expertise will support the Branch in delivering high-impact programs that drive meaningful change.

Key Responsibilities
- Branch Coordination - Oversee executive correspondence and ensure seamless coordination of branch activities.
- Budget & Financial Management - Manage the Branch's budget and monitor financial performance across sections.
- Policy & Program Support - Lead or support the development of New Policy Proposals, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Governance & Operations Improvement - Identify and implement opportunities to enhance business processes, governance frameworks, and secretariat functions.

On offer is a 6 month contract with labour hire, non-ongoing and S26 transfer options.
