This Federal Government Department provides a vital service within their industry, working to ensure objectives are met and adhered to.

**Your new role**

As the Assistant Director - Finance Business Partner your role is to deliver financial advice in a timely manner with a customer focused approach. Working within the Chief Financial Officer division your role will require you too but not be limited too;
- Lead a small team including work flows, performance reviews and personal development plans.
- Create working relationships with a variety of stakeholders of all levels including senior executive.
- Support stakeholders with monthly forecasting and strategically utilising financial information to advise stakeholders.
- Prepare monthly financial reports including variance analysis, commentary and full year forecasts.
- Engage and support divisional area business planning.
- Input financial information as required for divisional areas including the annual report, senate estimate and ministerial briefs.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You need to be able to demonstrate the ability to perform in the areas above with experience leading a team and working in a similar capacity within a Federal Department / Agency, along with experience utilising SAP or TechOne with a current security clearance.
