**EL1 Finance Business Partner**

**Your new company**

Working within a Federal Government department that is responsible for the public health and safety of all Australians.

**Your new role**

As the EL1 Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Manage and lead a small team to deliver timely advice to a variety of stakeholders.
- Provide key financial guidance that provides strategic advice to the group and the CFO that guides business decisions.
- Work collaboratively to deliver timely, accurate and useful advice on finances, budgets and forecasts for all types of funds.
- Regularly provide advice on divisional financial performance through meetings. Advise on financial reports, financial risk and add value to provide informed predictions.
- Provide monthly reporting and support with the preparation of financial reports.

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will need to be a highly driven individual who is eager to support an organisation in identifying and implementing new strategies to drive success. You will have clear communication skills and the ability to engage and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels.

**What you'll get in return**

You will get an initial 12-month contract with the view to permanency. The department offers flexible working arrangements once you have settled into your new role.
