**What to Expect**

The Technical Channel Development Manager, Residential Energy, APAC, serves as a critical conduit between sales, engineering, service and external stakeholders, including channel partners and installers.

This role focuses on supporting technical inquiries, delivering advanced technical training, and facilitating product launches and feature rollouts for residential energy products.

The role requires deep expertise in the energy market, a strong technical background, and exceptional interpersonal skills to drive successful adoption of new products and features in the APAC region.

**What You'll Do**
- Lead the development and delivery of technical training programs tailored for internal sales teams and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with product launches and feature updates.
- Support product launch and project management activities, including coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless rollout of new software, products, and features across APAC markets.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define requirements for new products and support product road mapping
- Facilitate technical inquiries, troubleshooting, and issue resolution, acting as a bridge between sales, engineering, service and external stakeholders to enhance processes and tools.
- Support compliance and certification processes for products, ensuring alignment with regional standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with industry stakeholders and network operators to advance solar and storage adoption, driving innovation and advocating for policies that remove barriers to residential energy storage deployment across regions.
- Engage with channel partners and installers to provide training, support, and resources for successful product adoption and implementation
- Lead and guide the team technical sales team
- Occasionally travel to sites or offices to deliver training, support product launches, or address critical technical inquiries.

**What You'll Bring**
- 5-8 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, technical training, or a related role, ideally within the energy market at an OEM or in a technical role.
- Engineering degree or electrical background strongly preferred; equivalent technical expertise in renewable energy systems is highly valued.
- Proven experience in delivering technical training and developing training content for diverse audiences, including sales teams, channel partners, and installers.
- Strong understanding of residential energy products, industry standards, and emerging trends (e.g., V2G, energy storage, and retail energy plans).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and confidently to varied stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage product launches and coordinate cross-functional teams, with experience in project management or product road mapping being a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to evolving business and industry needs.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles, curriculum development, and training methodologies to create impactful, business-aligned content.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the APAC region for training, product launches, or stakeholder engagement.
- Locations: Sydney or Melbourne preferred; Brisbane considered.
