Chandler Macleod, in collaboration with Santos, is currently seeking an experienced Environmental Approvals Coordinator to join the Environmental project team in Perth, WA. The Environment Approvals Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the Environmental team lead to achieve divisional targets associated with environmental approvals and compliance, along with contributing to the maintenance of Santos’ license to operate.
**Tasks include**:
- Support development of environmental approvals from inception to approval
- Support the development of compliance trackers for assurance activities
- Coordination of marine sightings reporting and coordination
- Development and facilitation of environmental databases to support operational needs
- Understands change and performance mindset and participates to achieve desired culture outcomes
- Understands team purpose and role accountabilities
- Contributes to delivering on cost reduction efficiencies and value creation strategies as directed
- Effective and timely collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as required
- Upholds and ensures compliance with all company standards and processes.
- Ensures compliance with and adherence to standards for environmental performance and behavior
- Raising variations, contractor management and mobilization requirements
- consistent with Company’s environmental vision and policies and standards
Role Specific Accountabilities Include:
- Day to day dialogue with team members regarding Env approvals and compliance matters.
- Support environmental advisers in coordination & preparation of regulatory inspections
- Compiling end of activity notification reporting for NOPSEMA (i.e., Reg 25s)
- Coordination of requests from regulators for updates on Environment Plan submissions
- Engages with the regulatory financial approvals (levies, compliance fees, financial assurance)
- Compile weekly reporting requirements for the environment team
- Develop and maintain report templates to be used by Env team and update when required (i.e. Env approvals request forms)
- Contribute to campaigns and training to promote continuous improvement of environmental performance
- Assist in organizing ENVIDs and risk workshops
- Assist with administered with Lanfolio database
- Support with functional database reporting
- Conduct other duties as directed by Environment Team Lead
**This assignment is initially offered for 12 months, engaged via Chandler Macleod.**
**Location for this assignment is Perth, WA working full-time office hours.**
**About You**
- Hold a Certificate or Diploma in environmental science or tertiary qualification.
- Previous experience an environmental related position.
- Knowledge of environmental management practices.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment,
- Good data management skills and demonstrated computer software literacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Previous experience working within SAP is preferred
- TBOSIET, MSIC, CAEBS - preferred
