Job Summary
">We are seeking a highly experienced Environmental Approvals Specialist to lead our environmental approvals services for mining and resources projects in Western Australia.
">As an Environmental Approvals Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering complex environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and approvals for mining and resources projects across WA. You will develop and implement approvals strategies that meet client objectives and regulatory requirements.
">You will also build strong relationships with regulators, communities, Traditional Owners and other stakeholders. Additionally, you will oversee the preparation and submission of high-quality environmental documentation, provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level consultants, and support business development through proposal writing, client engagement and identifying new opportunities.
">About the Role
">This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who has a strong track record of delivering environmental approvals for mining projects in WA or similar jurisdictions. You will have extensive consulting experience with a strong network within the mining and resources industry, and ideally with regulators and stakeholders.
">You will also have in-depth knowledge of WA's environmental legislation, policies and approvals pathways, proven ability to manage multidisciplinary projects and work collaboratively across teams, and excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

About You
">To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree in earth sciences, environmental engineering or equivalent. You will also require extensive consulting experience with a strong network within the mining and resources industry, and ideally with regulators and stakeholders.
">You should have in-depth knowledge of WA's environmental legislation, policies and approvals pathways, as well as proven ability to manage multidisciplinary projects and work collaboratively across teams. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are also essential.
