About our Role

At Worley, we're seeking a skilled professional to support the preparation and delivery of environmental approval documentation and strategic advice across various resources and energy projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing Environmental Impact Studies: Documenting baseline information, potential impacts, and recommending management actions in terrestrial and/or marine components.

  • Developing Approval Strategies: Providing strategic advice to engineering teams and clients regarding approval strategy and risk.

  • Preparing Permit and Approval Applications: Developing modification documentation, environmental management plans, and environmental monitoring programs.

  • Managing Field Work: Gathering data for terrestrial and aquatic environments, implementing HSE systems, and conducting surveillance inspections and audits.

  • Preparing Environmental Risk Assessments: Evaluating environmental risks for various developments.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Tertiary Qualifications: In Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.

  • Extensive Experience: As a practicing environmental professional with demonstrated experience in coordinating or delivering WA State and Commonwealth environmental approvals.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and build positive relationships.
