Public Sector People are seeking an experienced Principal Project Officer with a passion for policy and stakeholder engagement

You will be working with a high-profile State government team department.

This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the Queensland economy.

As a Principal Project Officer / Policy, you will be responsible for communicating and engaging with key stakeholders, creating and fostering relationships, and identifying opportunities to grow the Queensland innovation ecosystem.

You will work closely with the Manager of the Innovation division to ensure the successful delivery of strategic projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate and engage partnerships with key stakeholders to support innovation precincts and places in Queensland
- Create and foster relationships across the innovation eco-system through constructive conversations that support innovation across Queensland
- Identify opportunities for the Innovation Precinct and Places Team to grow the Queensland innovation ecosystem and collaborate across the Queensland’s priority industry sectors.
- Embrace, research and understand stakeholders’ policies and terminology.

**About you**:

- You love to talk to people You have excellent stakeholder reengagement skills and enjoy meeting with new people.
- You can hold conversations with People in senior executive and management positions form both an academic and technical background.
- Experience in policy development and implementation, project management, stakeholder engagement, and collaboration.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including the corporate sector, universities, and service providers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- A tertiary qualification in policy, public administration, or a related field is desirable.
