**About the Company**

Davidson are a preferred supplier for the government sector and have strong partnerships within local, state and federal government. We are seeking a Principal Policy Officer (AO7) for a 3-month contract. The role is based in Brisbane CBD.

**About the Role**
- Support the existing team develop grant guidelines, eligibility criteria, assessment methodology, plans, reporting etc aligned with the department’s framework
- Contribute to the design, development and implementation of data collection, information and strategic reporting for identified grant programs administered by the department
- Compile, analyse, interpret and report on data and other information to inform performance monitoring, program design, implementation, evaluation and strategy
- Prioritise and schedule project activities and tasks to meet deadlines, commitments and deliver priority outcomes
- Provide advice to support strong grant program governance and risk minimisation
- Undertake the preparation of timely, quality, well researched and thorough documents including reports, briefings, improvement registers and other documentation as required
- Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships supported through strong written, interpersonal and verbal communication

- Demonstrate commitment to the department’s core values of strong customer service, teamwork, open communication, leadership and innovation.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Excellent project management, analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience in grant program management or related field
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
