**About us**

**Daimler Trucks Newcastle**, part of the Velocity Truck Centres, offers dedicated sales, service and parts, and teams, to service our customers. You will be based at our Beresfield dealership which features our modern showroom offering a range of Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso vehicles.

**About the opportunity**

This position will see you utilising your well-developed leadership skills and your strong truck parts experience to lead our Parts team at Daimler Trucks Newcastle. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Parts Manager looking to progress their career or an Assistant Parts Manager or experienced individual ready to take the next step in their career and move into a management position.

We are committed to ensuring our Parts business is a national leader and you will provided with an opportunity to work with industry leaders, receive coaching from members of the senior leadership team and collaborate with our wider VVG team both in Australia and the USA.

**About you**

To ensure success you will have**:

- Demonstrated experience in the heavy commercial parts industry
- Strong leadership experience in building a team culture
- A commitment to safety and ensuring the safety program is implemented
- The ability to drive process improvement and exceptional customer service
- Superb interpersonal skills, particularly in building and motivating teams and creating a positive working environment
