As a Support Coordinator, you'll make a real difference in people's lives every day. You will be supported by a team of passionate people, and have access to networking opportunities that will help you grow your career in ways you never imagined.

Focal is looking for someone who is ready to take the next step in their career. We are looking for someone who wants to provide individualised support to participants with disabilities and/or mental illnesses who are enrolled in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

We know that every person is unique, so your support will be tailored specifically to each individual's needs.

**_Essential Requirements:_**

Our ideal Support Coordinator will have well developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to network with local service providers. You will also demonstrate sound organisation and have a high level of attention-to-detail, ideally you will have:

- Certificate IV in Disability / Mental Health or other higher qualifications in human services
- Previous experience working with people with a disability or mental health diagnosis
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with meeting legislative requirements including strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality
- Experience designing and managing client plans independently
- Keep abreast of current NDIS legislation, rules and operational guidelines (including NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission, NDIA and other relevant peak bodies)
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
- Goal driven and consistently meets deadlines and key performance indicators
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain one
- Current Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain one
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Current National Police Certificate (issued within the last 90 days)
- Current driver’s license and access to a reliable, registered, comprehensively insured vehicle
