We are searching for a dynamic and strategic **Warehouse Manager** to join this Australian owned and loved online retail and wholesale business. From small beginnings, this business has become a leader in their field with significant growth and exciting technology innovation about to be launched.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Warehouse Manager will be apart of the leadership team and will play a critical part in making informed and effective decisions regarding warehouse operations as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Provide first-class leadership for all warehouse staff including workforce planning, providing guidance, feedback and development.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Plan and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and implement effective inventory control measures.
- Conduct final quality control checks on all orders to maintain a high level of standard.
- Champion WHS practices, including reviewing OH&S procedures, staff training and fostering a safety culture at all times.
- Analyse warehouse processes and implement improvements to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse performance.
**About you**:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role, with a track record of successfully managing warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory management and logistics.
- Excellent leadership, emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with, motivate and develop a team.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to make informed and effective decisions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the team and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of safety regulations and the ability to enforce safety protocols.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with and analyse data.
- IT savvy with the ability to embrace change and new technology that allows efficiencies.
- Ability to work calm under pressure especially during peak periods.
- Current forklift licence.
