Are you ready to take control of a warehouse in a dynamic and growing business? This growing food manufacturing company, services the retail and foodservice industries across Australia. They are currently on the hunt for a proactive Warehouse Manager to join their operations team.

About the role:

As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items in a fast-moving environment. In addition, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the following facilities and areas: Inwards Goods Warehouse, Freezer, Temporary defrosting room, and dispatch warehouse

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and dispatching of goods - Plan, co-ordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods across, Inwards goods warehouse, Freezer, Temporary defrosting room and dispatch warehouse.
  • Supervise and control order picking, goods in, goods out operations to ensure accuracy with minimum stock damage.
  • Ensure orders are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials to staging area meets production demand.
  • Manage all stock and the flow of the warehouse, including labour and space/layout capacity requirements, ensuring operational demand is satisfied
  • Managing the performance of staff, through up-skilling, training and ensuring performance management processes are completed
  • Ensure that OHS policy and procedures are implemented and adhere to

Key requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 + years' experience in a similar role within a Food Manufacturing/ FMCG environment
  • Good knowledge of the FMCG or warehouse industries
  • Valid forklift license with experience operating counterbalance forklift
  • Strong management experience with the ability to delegate to the wider team
  • Demonstrated expertise overseeing the delivery of raw and packaged materials to the production lines.
