**About the Role**:
The Audit Specialist works as part of a team of specialists within the Quality function for SSI’s Employment Services division. The role is responsible for improving the overall business performance and service quality of SSI’s Employment Services programs by identifying areas of compliance, potential compliance risk areas, and areas for improvement by conducting regular internal audits and investigations.
The Audit Specialist will assist in analysing, and interpreting data, making recommendations to optimise operational efficiencies and to increase performance, and implement strategies for performance improvements. This will include designing, implementing, and delivering continuous improvement and training and development strategies to ensure that SSI Employment Services staff are provided with the knowledge and skills to deliver on recommendations and achieve performance improvements.

To have success in the role you will have a holistic approach to preventative risk management and an interest in contract service delivery excellence, and performance improvement and development. You will also have:
- Experience working in a team to successfully deliver high quality service, deliverables, performance improvements, and operational outcomes.
- High level customer centric approach and the ability to achieve quality and accuracy in service standards, KPIs, and targets.
- Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks and reporting.
- The ability to read, analyse and interpret data, and to present data, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Commercial acumen with demonstrated experience in identifying operational efficiencies and implementing strategies for increased performance.
- Good working knowledge of current Employment Services contracts and guidelines, or the ability to understand and interpret government contracts, deeds or guidelines, and funding systems and requirements.
- High level digital literacy, including current working knowledge of the ESS Web system, or the ability to pick up new systems and software programs quickly.
- Knowledge of quality management systems and frameworks such as ISO9001 standards, the DESE Quality Assurance Framework, the National Standard for Disability Services, and the ability to pick up new systems and frameworks quickly.
- Strong ethics, accountability, and integrity.
- Diploma of Quality Auditing, qualifications in Business Management, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or similar qualification desirable or be willing to work towards.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Criminal Record Check, along with WWCC and be vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.
