We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Claims Supervisor to join our National Claims Team, based at our Bankstown, NSW office.

As a Deaf and Hard of Hearing specialist provider, we're passionate about creating equitable employment opportunities. In this role, you'll ensure every employment outcome claim is accurate, compliant and submitted on time — supporting quality service delivery and strong participant outcomes across all sites nationally.

About Us

Sign for Work, part of Deaf Children Australia, has been a Deaf and Hard of Hearing specialist provider of Disability Employment Services (DES) for over 20 years.

From 1 November 2025, we will deliver the new Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) Deaf and Hard of Hearing Specialist Contract, building on our strong history of supporting people into long-term employment and economic inclusion.

What You'll Do
  • Oversee the end-to-end processing of outcome claims, ensuring accuracy, evidence quality and adherence to the Deed, Program Guidelines and NSDS
  • Review and verify claim documentation to confirm compliance with internal audit standards and IEA requirements
  • Collaborate with and support staff in obtaining accurate documentary evidence for claims
  • Ensure all employment outcomes have complete supporting evidence and are efficiently claimed within required timeframes
  • Provide guidance, mentoring and training to consultants regarding evidence requirements and claim eligibility
  • Maintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date records across multiple systems to uphold data integrity
  • Monitor claim progress and performance, identifying and resolving any issues that impact timeliness or compliance
  • Prioritise and coordinate workload to meet reporting deadlines and quality expectations
  • Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes, enhance efficiency and strengthen compliance across sites
What We're Looking For
  • Experience in outcome claims, compliance or administration within Disability Employment Services or Workforce Australia
  • Sound understanding of the Deed, Program Guidelines and internal auditing requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Proven ability to provide guidance and support to others to achieve compliance and performance outcomes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Employment Services CRMs
  • Commitment to inclusive, person-centred and quality-driven service delivery aligned with the NSDS
What You'll Need
  • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience
  • Working With Children Check (Employee)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Evidence of your entitlement to work in Australia
  • National Police Check (and International Police Check if lived overseas in the past 10 years)
  • Two referees
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable car
