Learning Projects Specialist

**The role
The Learning Project Specialist supports Auto & General’s strategic priorities by designing and developing learning solutions in collaboration with the Learning Projects Manager. This role focuses on delivering key initiatives that drive a scalable, productive, and sustainable business. The Specialist manages and supports the end-to-end delivery of learning initiatives, including stakeholder consultation, design, development, delivery, and embedment, all aligned with the Playbook. With expertise in project management and instructional design, they work closely with the Learning & Development team to meet stakeholder needs.

**_This is a 12-month secondment opportunity _**
- Lead the design, development, and optimisation of learning experiences that align with Auto & General’s strategic priorities, ensuring clear objectives, logical design, effective instruction, and competency-based assessments.
- Partner with stakeholders to assess requirements, prioritise needs, and project manage the delivery of learning solutions.
- Collaborate with the L&D team and broader A&G business to successfully manage and deliver learning initiatives.
- Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.
- Manage project tasks and time effectively to balance workload and competing priorities.
- Identify and manage risks in line with A&G’s Risk Management Framework.Comply with workplace health & safety (WHS) protocols, recognising WHS as a shared responsibility.

**What experience you’ll bring**
- Strong stakeholder engagement and consultation skills, with the ability to uncover and deliver business needs beyond initial requests.
- Expertise in learning theories, project management principles, and blended learning design and governance.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams, with a strong curiosity and dedication to continuous improvement.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and stakeholder groups simultaneously.
- Maintains focus, positivity, and adaptability in the face of last-minute changes or challenges.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Proactive in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, with a strong understanding of risk management principles.Cert IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent, plus accreditation or experience in project delivery.
