Marketing Automation Specialist

**Your Role**

The Marketing Automation Specialist plays a pivotal role within the CRM Marketing team, driving the execution and optimisation of automated campaigns to enhance customer engagement. This position is integral to ensuring that marketing efforts align with business objectives and deliver measurable results.
- Taking ownership of commercial campaigns across direct marketing and web channels (eDM, SMS/MMS, website assets).
- Designing and implementing automated customer journeys, ensuring alignment with the customer lifecycle and business goals.
- Collaborating with the CRM team to create data-driven, personalised content.
- Conducting QA testing to ensure campaign accuracy, functionality, and compatibility.
- Providing guidance on campaign design and best practices.
- Supporting a test-and-learn approach, sharing insights from A/B tests and campaign analytics.
- Assisting with the implementation of new tools (e.g., Braze)
- Continuously optimising marketing processes to improve outcomes.
- Staying informed on digital trends, SPAM regulations, and industry best practices.

**What experience you’ll bring**
- Ampscript, Javascript, Liquid, Photoshop
- Proven ability to manage and optimise multi-channel marketing automation campaigns.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting campaign data to inform strategy
- Experience in designing and executing customer lifecycle programs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable
- Experience with marketing automation tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze)
- Background in working with marketing teams on campaigns
- Knowledge of data-driven marketing principles
