Lead and manage the team in the provision of prompt and effective delivery of services to clients and stakeholders.- Manage and maintain skills and knowledge of the team including performance monitoring and staff development.- Resolve complex problems ensuring solutions are consistent with the direction of the section.- Improve service delivery benchmarks through the implementation of programs of work based on findings including workarounds. - Analyse, evaluate and interpret statistics and report findings on a regular basis.- Manage the review and development of policies and procedural issues.- Represent the section at internal and external forums as required and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders.- Provide support to other team leader/supervisors in peak periods and actively participate in various meetings/conferences as a member of the management team.- Ensure corporate governance is maintained through the development and provision of guidance and advice in relation to Weapons legislation.- Audit end to end transactions across all elements of the Section to ensure outcome consistency and quality results.- Assist in the design and delivery of training programs.- Contribute to the formulation of work unit strategies and actively participate to delivery of programs of work. - Through the analysis of performance, client and industry feedback, statistics recommend programs of work and strategies to achieve.
